Hello,
My name is Jennifer Flint VanHoose (my father was John Flint).  I came across this interesting picture over the weekend while looking through some boxes while visiting my mother.  I work for the Big Sandy Area Community Action Program which originated from LBJ's visit to Eastern Kentucky and his declaration of his "War on Poverty" in 1964.  How ironic that I would end up with this photograph!  Most of us here at the office are curious as to who is in the picture with LBJ and his wife.  We figured out where the picture was taken, but we have no idea of the identities of others in the picture.  Would you have any insight as to the identities? Any input would be helpful.  Thanks for your time.

PS again.  By the way, one of the men in the car with Senator John Sherman Cooper is President Lyndon Johnson.  Hah!  Didn't know a soul, but I'm going to show it to Ronnie.  Maybe he'll know some of them.  I saw the President in when he passed in front of Mayo Vocational School.  I did not see him as he came across the bridge into town so I know I'm not in the picture.  I really didn't go downtown to see him because he was democrat.  I was just coming back from Aunt Julia Stafford's and there he was.  It was memorable though.

I am wondering if you, or someone you might know, can give me any
information on Millers Creek Coal milk caps or pogs. I believe they were
shipped with the coal, but I am not sure. I have several of them. I have
attached a picture of one. I appreciate your help. Thank you, Dixie Doocy,

I received this post card postmarked in West Van Lear, KY in what looks to
be 1936. Upon closer examination of the card, there is a political
advertisement on the side of a rock. It appears to be on Mayo Trail. The
advertisement is promoting Bird Webb for County Judge. I have attached  both
the image of the postcard and of the political ad. Please feel free to use it.
